Hello, and welcome to my blog! My name is Katie and I'm originally from Fairbanks, Alaska although my educational career has landed me in Edmonton, Alberta at the present. As a Geotechnical Engineering student I find myself frequently aching to let my creative self free.I created 'Choux and Me' as an outlet for my creative baker side. I know, crazy... I'm an engineer with a 'creative' side, lol. My goal is to try new recipes and tweak my favorites as I deem necessary. I don't claim to be a professional, although I cannot say I'm incompetent either... just somewhere in the middle with an appreciation for flavor and fun!
While baking is my main love I may also incorporate some of my cooking into the blog at a later date. We'll see how it goes. Enjoy! I hope you love the recipes I've found as much as I do!
